Another week down and it draws closer and closer to Spring Break and a week of freedom from all responsibility that comes with being a college student. With an overwhelming amount of papers and projects planned for the semester time management has become a key factor in getting through this semester. On top of a 15 upper division schedule I've been elected to Treasurer of my pledge class for Kappa Sigma
This semester will differently be a trial for me, to make sure that I can continue to keep up with my work along with avoiding the neglect that comes with dedication to a lot of my time to different areas involved with school.
I'm also working on securing an internship for this summer, and received a call back from Nordstrom application so will be hearing back more in the coming weeks about whats happening with that. I can only hope that I'm accepted because that would allow me to work from Sunny Southern California rather then the Silicon Valley during the summer.
That's all for now have a great weekend

There and Back Again, With Still No Help
Just a quick little blip I decided to post. Today I went to see my councilors to make sure that all my classes were in order and that I was on the path needed in order to graduate Spring 2010. However I love the misguided information that every department on campus gives you, I have never felt so helpless and tired from jumping through hoops in hopes of finding out the information I needed. From being sent to window R to IND 225 (which was the wrong room thank you for that misinformation, you are a councilor you should know what room you're sending me to and not make some random ass guess.)
After going through all the work and finally finding out how to get my WST scores that I was told to take prior to attending in the Fall of 2008, were not valid because I took them at Cal State Long Beach and was not attending class there. So thank you transfer information day you guys are 100% worthless and just toss those who attend your university out on the ground with little help or guidance, and the guidance that you do provide is inaccurate and wrong, what the hell is wrong with a system like that?
So now I find out that I need to take ANOTHER writing skills test in April because god forbid the score I received while taking it at CSULB doesnt reflect my actual knowledge, and have to shell out another $25 for said test. So thats a grand total of $100 that will be spent on testing with only $25 of it actually counting, all of thats on top of the hours that I spent driving to and from and taking the god damn test.
If any of these individuals worked for me in MY company I would sure as hell kicked them out the door a long time ago for providing false information to potential clients. So to you CSU system learn what the fuck you are actually doing, before you go off and tell others.

New Semester, New Activities, New Responsibility.
This past week has been one of the busiest in my academic and social career, its a good thing I'm currently not working our I might of broken under the stress of what I had to come. During last week I had a grand total of 12 chapters of reading, 4 papers, a power point, and two in class presentations that I was to be held accountable for, and that was without having a backlog of class work. Good thing that so far this semester I have been on top of my academic life, along with my social life.
With the weekend came the end of dry RUSH for Kappa Sigma, and lead off to the kick off event of the fall, steak dinner. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet everyone in my pledge class, and once again see most of the members from the house. Coming together I could not of asked for a better pledge class, with members a diverse as their background with majors from Mechanical Engineering to Undeclared to Public Relations, it really reflects who we are as a group.
Steak dinner came and went and I was able to finish all my class work and required readings and even get a head start on some papers that are up and coming. For the first week my I received all copies of my NY Times and none were stolen so that was a huge plus, so I can't say that anything truly bad is happening in my life thus far.
The weekend was relaxed and laid back, and involved going to the gym, doing laundry, watching movies, and just hanging out. I had to pick up my roommate from the Airport but that just involved driving in a circle for about thirty minutes until he was out and had all of his luggage.
On the gaming side of life, with the release of 3.0.9 both the mage class and rogue class took huge hits across the board, no longer able to "gib" someone in a blanket counterspell or good blind, looks like frost mages will be coming back as the dominate spec for PVP mages. The hits the Mutilate were minor for the rogues but still hurt both 2's and 3's comps for mages and rogues, nerfing both RMP and RM. While arcane was the bad mages fail safe, it allowed for counters vs. the deathknight, ret, and hunter classes where standing still can mean death.
We will see how things play out, all I've done recently are BG's and have not played with my partner since the changes rolled across the board, so we will have to wait and see if we can still manage our top tier preformance or if we will be knocked to the ground by pally/dk teams.

Challenges and Opportunities for Bloggers
Bloggers have several opportunities that allow them to become part of the main stream. Due to the number of people who have access to the internet Blogs are becoming the new generation for the public to view messages made by members of the internet community.
While many people simply use blogs as an online diary, it also allows the flow of information to the masses or at least those who view members blogs. Its a great way to stay connected to members of the blogging community and see what is happening in peoples lives, or whats going on around the world.
I feel that blogs are a great way to reach or find people who you might have a common intrest with, and then communicate upon the topic and get a better understanding of how others view the same world around you.
Throughout the semester I will be updating the occurrences of my life, including school, fraternity business (Kappa Sigma), and any extra curricular events I'm apart of.
